Job Scope
Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts (e.g., Watsons, Guardian, etc.) to drive long-term business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure their needs are met.
- Understand the unique requirements of each account and tailor solutions to meet their goals.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Achieve sales targets for the assigned key accounts through effective negotiation, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring KPIs are met.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive product visibility and sales.
3. Product Distribution & Merchandising:
- Ensure optimal product availability and placement within key retail outlets.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to implement in-store displays, shelf management, and point-of-sale materials.
- Regularly conduct store visits to assess product placement and ensure brand standards are maintained.
4. Market Insights & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and account activities to management.
- Provide recommendations for improving product offerings based on feedback from customers and key accounts.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
-Work closely with the marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product launches and timely delivery to key accounts.
- Coordinate with the finance and operations teams to resolve any issues related to billing, orders, or inventory.
6. Customer Service & Support:
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns from key accounts in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide product training and support to account representatives to ensure effective promotion of health food products.
7. Any Other Duties:
- 7.1 Perform any other duties as assigned by superior/management.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the health food or FMCG industry.
- Experience working with key retail chains like Watsons, Guardian, or similar will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to drive results.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of the health food industry trends and product categories.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A results-driven mindset with a customer-first approach.
